About Emma
Taught both KS1 and KS2 and privately tutor a year 4 child once a week for a year. I have taught literacy, maths, science, history, geography, music and phonics across both key stages.
The children I have taught have moved on successfully to their next year in education.

I will give lessons to primary age children as I am a trained primary school teacher. I know the national curriculum and can prepare any children for the coming school year so they know what to expect.
I believe that children benefit from being taught phonics which helps to blend and sound out words. It is also important for them to read as much as possible and write fiction and non-fictional texts to explore new idea and use any new techniques they may have learnt.
