About Aferdita
I am an Oxford Physics Graduate with an interest in nanotechnology. I tutor GCSE and A level maths at Westminster City School, and I work as a tutor for The Oxbridge Formula, helping students with PAT tests and Oxbridge interviews. I am now working on my MSc in Nanotechnology at UCL, but I've always had a passion for teaching. From teaching guitar to leading training sessions at the gym/my American football team, I've always loved sharing my knowledge with others and helping them achieve their goals. I have also helped teach physics and maths GCSE and A level students from my secondary school in the past.

I teach by trying to find gaps in the student's knowledge, and addressing these so that the student forms their own understanding on the subject. By helping them connect the dots on their own, the learning experience (and therefore the knowledge gained) is far more memorable, and relies on understanding, rather than parrot-fashion learning. Should the student have no understanding on a particular topic, I always try and relate it to something they already do understand, or intuitively know.
