Hello! My name is Chetan. I am an engineer by qualification and a passionate, dedicated educator by choice. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree, which has provided me with a profound, practical mastery over Mathematics, Logic, and the laws of Physics.
My journey into teaching started because I genuinely love breaking down complex ideas into simple, logical steps that anyone can understand. My lessons are specifically designed for young learners in Grades 1 to 5 (ages 6 to 11). Whether your child needs help catching up with schoolwork, mastering tricky concepts, or getting ahead of their class, I adapt completely to their needs.
Teaching primary school students requires energy, patience, and visual aids. I do not believe in rote memorization or making children stare at dry textbooks. Instead, my approach focuses on deep conceptual understanding using three main pillars:
1. The Visual First Approach: For Math (Arithmetic, Algebra), I use the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract method. We use digital blocks, interactive shapes, and drawing tools to see the math before writing down numbers.
2. Inquiry-Based Learning: For Science and fundamental Physics, I trigger their natural curiosity. We look at everyday real-world examples (like why a ball falls or how ice melts) to build a rock-solid scientific foundation.
3. Gamified Milestones: To keep attention spans sharp, I use interactive tools like live digital whiteboards and quick, fun quizzes (via Kahoot! or Quizizz) to test their understanding while making them feel like they are playing a game.
Typical Length of a Lesson:
* 30 to 45 Minutes (Recommended for Grades 1–3): Perfect for younger children to maintain peak focus without cognitive fatigue.
