About Luke
I taught a class of year 7 chemistry once when I was in Sixth Form and have helped many peers (and a couple relatives) get their head around tricky concepts.
As far as Biology goes I got an A* at GCSE and an A at A-level but that's not to say I can't help students get A*s in A-level biology nowadays; I study veterinary medicine and science so I have continued to improve my knowledge of Biology (not just in animals!) as well as develop professional and practical skills.
At Vet school there is a great emphasis on team work so I have developed good communication skills in order to function as part of a team. These same skills are useful in teaching students concepts in biology. I am also very patient, having tutored people in the past who were struggling significantly with learning biology.

I'm a Second-Year Vet student at the University of Surrey. The level of biology I'm learning at the moment means that I'm more than equipped to help GCSE and A-level students pass their exams. Having done my GCSEs and A-levels, I feel like I am able to provide a students perspective to the curriculum in order to help current students understand tricky concepts.
My lessons are centred around the student; I don't have a set-in-stone lesson plan but would rather tailor the sessions to what the student is having trouble with. Thus, my lessons are for anyone be it a student looking to go from an A to an A*, or a student just looking to pass! There also won't be any judging from me; no question is a silly question and I can start from the absolute basics if need be.
Also, if there's any aspiring vet students out there I would be more than happy to give advice on getting into vet school.
