I am an English teacher at secondary school level in Scotland looking to do tutoring over the summer before starting my probationary year in the Autumn. I have previous experience in teaching from placements as well as previously tutoring family and friends aiding those I have taught to achieve exam results successfully

I base my classes on the current Scottish curriculum, teaching a variety of Novels, Poetry, Short Stories and Drama. I also teach Reading for Understanding, Analysis and Evaluation (also known as Close Reading). I can teach whichever texts you require, or I can select texts to study additionally. I also teach discursive and persuasive writing techniques.
