I tend to focus on linking topics with real life examples which helps students understand even those topics that they struggle with the most. Other than that, Economics is a linked subject which many tutors do not stress over. I personally believe that creating a link between topics helps students understand the whole concept.
I was a peer mentor in College where I taught Economics to a few AS students as well as GCSE students. In total I tutored 5 students out of which 3 ended up with a B in AS Economics, 1 ended up with A in GCSE Economics and 1 with a C in GCSE Economics.
