About Tharmika
I am at UofT, completing a Neuroscience specialist program and a Biology major. My goal is to become a physician. My most effective learning strategy is to pretend as if I am teaching the concepts to a toddler/ child. That's how I fell in love with teaching :)

My approach to teaching is ideal for high school students. I prefer to teach topics to students before learning it in school. The reason being, previous exposure to concepts makes it easier for students to learn and perform better in their classrooms.
Also, I like to follow their school curriculum/ textbook. Believe it or not, it's the most efficient way to spend your time learning. There are different ways to explain a scientific phenomena/ a concept. It's important to follow individual's school curriculum to avoid confusion.
Last but not least, there will be RECALL at the end of every lesson. Students need to be able to explain what they learned during their lesson, if they're not able to, they haven't learned it!
