I can speak French fluently after 7 years living in Paris - I came here in 2015 as a foreign language assistant. At the time I was finishing a degree in Literature (Portuguese-French) at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), with 2 years of research in literature - first Brazilian literature (novel "O Ateneu", by Raul Pompeia), then French literature (Classicism and epistolary prose).
I am also teacher of French as a foreign language (FLE).

Tudo bem? Do you want to learn the Brazilian Portuguese with a native?
As a young literary man who decided to make a career change by transitioning into (editorial, economic and technical) translation, I can offer you an innovative teaching method built on my multilingual experience (Portuguese, French, English).
The richness of colloquialisms and the variety of idiomatic expressions of my native language is something I would be happy to share with you, thanks to my skills as a terminologist.
Tutoring is primarily intended to help you to express yourself confidently and fluently. It also aims at helping you to master spelling and grammar topics, offering systematic, structured learning experience in a more individualized way.
We may dive into the Brazilian culture through music (MPB, axé, funk carioca…), literature, cinema, gastronomy, and current topics through press articles and social networks.
I know how to adapt myself to you in order to provide you with tailor-made content, whether you are a beginner or proficient in Portuguese, working in the fashion or petrochemical industry... I can really put myself in your shoes!
