About Sarah

I am a highly experienced tutor with over six years of teaching experience, offering engaging and structured English lessons that help students reach their full potential. Alongside my scientific background, I have developed a strong command of written and spoken English through years of academic study, essay-based research, and professional communication.

My students have consistently achieved exceptional results at GCSE and A-Level, with many improving by multiple grade boundaries within just a few months of tailored support. About the lesson

Whether a student is preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, working on coursework, or simply looking to strengthen their writing and comprehension skills, I create a personalised plan that supports consistent progress.

Each lesson combines discussion, analysis, and practice. We break down complex texts and essay questions into clear, manageable parts, focusing on both content and technique. I place strong emphasis on developing critical thinking, coherent argumentation, and confident written expression; skills that are essential not only for English exams but for all areas of academic and professional life.

I use a wide range of materials, including past papers, model essays, and tailored exercises, to make lessons interactive and effective. My aim is for every student to leave each session with a clearer understanding of how to approach the subject, improved confidence in their abilities, and genuine enjoyment in exploring language and literature.
