MMI Tutor & Medical Student Teaches Interview Preparation over Zoom - Upcoming Intake Open

I had a really good experience getting tutored by Maz for Section 1 and Section 2 of the GAMSAT. I would highly recommend her as a tutor! She was always incredibly supportive, patient, and encouraging throughout our sessions.

She didn't just explain why an answer was correct or wrong, but she taught how to approach different text types in a more structured way. She integrated the reasoning that GAMSAT tests into her teaching and made it more comfortable to approach questions.

For Section 2, Maz has a very structured approach to teaching and adapts her materials and feedback to each individual student. She has a wealth of experience teaching students how to write high-scoring essays and explains concepts and strategies in a way that is very clear and easy to understand.

Her tutoring helped me develop a flexible approach that allowed me to confidently respond to any topic I was given on the day, rather than relying on memorised ideas or essay structures. Going into the exam, I felt much more prepared and confident in my writing compared with my previous sitting. I’m really grateful for all of her guidance and support!

Maz also genuinely cares about her students and was always happy to answer questions and provide advice outside of our sessions. I’m really grateful for all of her support and would absolutely recommend her to anyone preparing for the GAMSAT!

Could not recommend Maz enough. She is incredibly down to earth, and her tutoring is comprehensive and personalised. Please do your GAMSAT prep justice by choosing Maz.

Maz has been an exceptional teacher, providing me with invaluable guidance and support for my S2 essays. I am truly grateful for her expertise and dedication. With her help, my writing skills have significantly improved. Thank you, Maz, for your outstanding work and support

Maz's expertise in the subject makes her trustworthy. Maz has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject, she explains concepts clearly and is able to guide us effectively. Maz 's adaptability, communication skills and feedback are what make her a great teacher. I always felt comfortable in Maz's classes and her teaching and feedback allowed me to bring up my grades in English.

Maz was a great tutor. Her teaching style was so helpful as she approached things i required help with in different ways to help me understand instead of other tutors who just read out the information from textbooks. She has a wide range of resources and always had everything that we may require ready and accessible. She made tuition enjoyable and was the best tutor I've ever had.

Having Maz as my English General tutor in year 12 made a large impact to my confidence and grades in English.
I appreciated her willingness to provide assistance outside of tutoring hours.
I also appreciated her getting to know me on a more personal level through chit chat, which allowed her to better understand my thought processes (which was great for more creative styles of writing), and allowed lessons to be more enjoyable.
She always provided thorough, honest and fair feedback, that allowed me to improve while also maintaining confidence in my current level.
I was provided with a variety of helpful resources, especially around exam time, with pages of notes for tips during the exam (i.e., how to utilize reading time).
I'll also never forget to take out unnecessary words, and if you hear her saying it, I'm gonna bet you won't forget either.
