About Charlie

I am a fifth year clinical medical student and natural sciences graduate at the University of Cambridge. I have strong tutoring experience and extensive knowledge of the biological sciences that I hope to pass on to ambitious students. I achieved four A*s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ at A-level, and 11 A*s at GCSE. During my medical school admissions year I came in the 99th percentile for the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) and received offers from three top UK universities to study medicine (Cambridge, Imperial and Exeter). Aside from my studies I am a keen rower, rugby player, road cyclist and home cook. Enhanced DBS checked.

About the lesson

Helping GCSE and A-level students to realise their potential with tailored tutoring from a Cambridge medical student with teaching experience. Lessons will be one hour long and can cover course content and past papers, or include advice for the medical school admissions process, including entrance exams and interview.

Charlie is a Truly superb Tutor. My Son got an A* as a result of Charlie’s help and support. He is well prepared, patient, and friendly. He has a truly expert grasp of his subject areas and has a gift for explaining things simply. His gives encouragement to his students and assists them to gain in confidence. He is “on their level”. He is also brilliant at giving help and advice relating to exam technique. As an undergraduate student himself he is able to relate to GCSE and A level pupils because he has only a few years ago been through those exams himself. I would recommend Charlie to any A level of GCSE student in Charlie’s subject areas. You won’t regret engaging him.

Very worthwhile investment! Charlie coached my son at A level. Significant improvement in not only test grades but levels of engagement and enthusiasm for the subject. Professional, dynamic and reliable - we would unreservedly recommend his teaching.
