My name is Amelia and I currently study a degree in Medicine. I have taught for 3 years now and I thoroughly enjoy it! In the future I would like to work in teaching other medical student at university, along side working as a doctor.

I want to help students build confidence in their subject area, gauge a deeper understanding of the content and perfect exam techniques so that they can succeed in their studies and enjoy it! The structure of the lesson depends highly on the needs of the student that I am working with. I help students understand the content and offer them techniques to aid in remembering and contextualising what they're learning. I also like to put an emphasis on exam question practise so that this is a skill they develop over time and learn to apply their knowledge into real questions. Lessons are typically an hour long. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and I have taught over 500 lessons for a variety of subjects. I mainly tutor GCSE science, including all exam boards, triple and double award.
