About Miki
Hello! Thanks for stopping by :)
My name is Miki, I am currently a Y3 Medical Student who really enjoys teaching. I've been a private tutor for 5 years and would love to be yours too.
As the oldest sister of 5 kids, I've basically been a teacher my whole life. My favourite part of teaching is when I see that light bulb switch on in someone's head because something they initially found difficult suddenly makes sense in their head. I'm determined to help you see that learning is really fun and not as intimidating as you might think.
Outside of Medicine I do lots of things as well. I'm the Entertainment Rep for Birmingham MedSoc, I perform in musicals, I swim and I play rugby. I encourage all my students to work hard but also to have a good balance outside of studying.

The lessons are all about you. What YOU want help with and how YOU want to be taught. The lessons will be catered to how you want; whether that is revising the content, practicing questions or being creative with things like mind maps or Kahoots.
I typically like to conduct lessons on Zoom, where I can share the screen with my iPad so I can draw out concepts and help visualise the content.
Lessons are typically an hour, but I am happy to do more or less so that it fits your schedule best.
Feedback is very important to me so I send out a feedback form every couple of sessions to know what I've done well and what I can improve on.
I've worked with kids from all ages: pre-GCSE, GCSE, A level, and aspiring medical students!
