Worked for Mathnasium for several years (including site director most recently). Privately tutored students in AP Calculus and Physics. Briefly worked for Sylvan Learning tutoring all ages in all subjects. Also, helped students in Chemistry, AP Statistics, ACT exam prep, and STAAR preparation.

Standard tests in math and/or physics to determine areas of weakness and concentrate on those areas. Classes usually last from 1 to 2 hours. Goal is always to give the student enough confidence and experience to become independent; in other words, to work myself out of a job. Periodically review the progress of the students. I've worked with all age groups and expect a commitment by the students and their parents to spend the time necessary to achieve the previously mentioned goal.
