About Laura

I am currently a Master's student at Emerson College enrolled in a Speech-Language Pathology program. With a background in pediatric mental health, my favorite population to support with language is those who are neurodivergent, and those with cognitive or developmental disorders. I also know that reading, writing, and speaking can be difficult for anyone with any background, so I am open to helping students from all walks of life.

About the lesson

I use a variety of games, conversational practice, writing practice, and whatever suits each individual best. Together we'll agree on a lesson plan that works with the child's learning style, so they never have to adapt to learning in a way that just doesn't click.

I am always eager to work with neurodivergent students as well. I specialize in working with children ages 5 - 18, however I am happy to work with adults as well.

My daughter was having trouble figuring out how to put together her college essay last minute. Her instructor and peers were so accomodating to her social anxiety and made her feel confident in her essay! She did such a great job!
