About Akshayaa
I am a high school student pursuing an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with three years of experience tutoring English. I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students, helping them improve their reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, and literary analysis skills. My approach is adaptive and student-centered, ensuring lessons are engaging and personalized. I focus on building confidence and helping students exceed expectations, not just meet them. Students and parents describe me as patient, understanding, and creative, and I take pride in tailoring my teaching to what works best for each student. Whether you need help with grammar, essays, literary analysis, or reading comprehension, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My Teaching Method
I believe that learning English should be engaging, personalized, and confidence-building. Every student has unique strengths and struggles, so I adapt my teaching style to fit their needs. Whether you need help with grammar, essay writing, reading comprehension, or literary analysis, I ensure that lessons are interactive and tailored to your learning style. As a student myself, I understand the challenges of academic expectations and work to create a supportive, relatable learning environment.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-up – A short activity to get into the mindset for learning (such as a quick writing prompt or vocabulary review).
Review & Corrections – We go over previous work, correct mistakes, and discuss areas of improvement.
Lesson Content – This can include reading analysis, writing structure, grammar practice, or discussion-based learning, depending on the student’s focus.
Interactive Exercise – A short writing task, debate, or comprehension quiz to reinforce learning.
Wrap-up & Feedback – A quick review of key takeaways and any homework or practice suggestions.
What Sets Me Apart
I don’t just teach English—I help students find confidence in their voice. Whether it’s mastering essay writing, strengthening reading skills, or improving fluency, my goal is to help students communicate effectively and think critically. Unlike traditional approaches, I prioritize understanding over memorization and adapt my lessons to make learning meaningful and engaging. My students often tell me I am patient, creative, and able to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them.
Who My Lessons Are For
I tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in English. Whether you're struggling with reading comprehension, need help structuring essays, or want to refine your writing skills, my lessons are designed to meet you where you are and push you beyond the standard.
