Before I started working with Miss Amanda, I didn’t like reading at all. I always thought I was bad at it, and it made me nervous in school. But she explains things in a way that makes sense and we do games and fun activities that make reading way more fun. My teacher is really nice, patient, and never makes me feel bad if I mess up. She’s the best!

Amanda has been an absolute gift to our family. We have been working with her for a few years now and are blessed to have found her! My daughter, Lily, is dyslexic and had always struggled with reading, which deeply impacted her confidence. From the very first session, Amanda created a space where Lily felt safe, supported, and seen. She brings such warmth, empathy, and patience to her teaching and somehow makes every lesson fun and engaging, even when the work is hard. Over time, I watched my daughter’s self-esteem grow, and her identity as a reader completely shift. She no longer says she ‘can’t read’… she tells people she’s learning to read, and she’s proud of it. Amanda is not just a tutor; she’s a wonderful teacher and mentor.
