About Lucy
I am a recent university graduate keen to tutor young people! I have achieved a first-class degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Nottingham and have just finished my MSc in Global Health from the University of Glasgow (predicted first-class). I studied Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at A-Level and completed triple science at GCSE, alongside Food Technology.
I want to target GCSE students particularly as this stage is a vital gateway to higher education, giving students freedom of choice! At GCSE, I achieved an A* in Food Technology, A* in Chemistry and A in Biology.
I am passionate about these topics and keen help any student! If you are aiming for a 9 or a 4, I am keen to work with you and tailor our sessions to how best you learn.

I have a creative and engaging approach to tutoring - using a variety of mediums to teach students. I love to have different types of sessions each week, to keep the content exciting and engaging for students. This includes YouTube videos, games, graphics and exam questions.
I am currently tutoring for GCSE students: Biology, Chemistry and Food Technology. But i am open to BTech, adult education and secondary/ primary students too. All sessions will be tailored to achieve exam success, but taught in a way that will help students learn - rather then just memorise facts.
These sessions will be online, either Zoom or MS Teams. Each session can be 30mins- 2 hours, depending on your preference and availability.
