About Summer
Hello! My name is Summer, and I am a licensed elementary teacher with classroom experience teaching students in grades K–6 in reading, writing, literacy, and math. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Elementary Education and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Literacy Education.
I am passionate about helping students grow academically while building confidence in their abilities. I strive to create a positive, patient, and engaging learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to succeed. My goal is to make learning meaningful, enjoyable, and personalized to each child’s needs.

As an elementary teacher and literacy graduate student, I provide engaging and supportive tutoring in reading, writing, literacy, and elementary math. My lessons are personalized to meet each student’s learning needs while helping them build confidence and strong academic foundations.
