About Shadia
I am Libyan American. This has given me the best of both worlds, languages and cultures. I attended the Libyan school of Colorado for 3 years. And spent the rest of my childhood homeschooled in Arabic by my parents. This has made me fluent and very understanding of the dialect. Additionally, I attended a United World College, where I went to school with people from all over the world. This challenged my Arabic as I was forced to encounter different dialects than my own. During my time at this school, my extended essay analyzed a speech by Gaddafi that pushed my knowledge of the language even further.

Through creating weekly structured learning, you will learn Libyan Arabic with weekly vocabulary lists, homework that challenges your writing, listening, reading, and speaking skills. Meetings will be once or twice a week for a set time. The first lesson will be to understand your level of Arabic. At the end of each lesson, homework will be given and expected to be done by the next lesson. That homework will then be graded as soon as possible.
