About Maddie
My name is Maddie, I am an A level student. I achieved a 9 (A**) in GCSE English Literature GCSE and am currently studying it for A level. For GCSE I studied 'Lord of the Flies' and 'Macbeth', while doing 'War and Conflict poetry' (all under AQA). For A level I am studying 'Othello', 'Rebecca', 'The Handmaid's Tale' and 'A Streetcar Named Desire', along with unseen poetry, prose and modern poetry from Owen Sheers' 'Skirrid Hill' collection.

I do not believe in throwing people in the deep end when it comes to English. I believe it is a talent which takes time to be able to progress. It is also something which takes a great deal of determination to conquer. In the beginning, I would like to see some of your work and how it could be improved (where your weaknesses lie). From there, it will be working with this, building up quote banks and methods of thinking that will help you combat this.
