About Hera
I am an aspiring research scientist set to study Chemistry at Imperial College London. I ran a TikTok page to do with studying and amassed over 10K followers helping people with their studies and motivation, someone told me I've helped them go from a U to a B! I believe studying should be fun, and that when it is fun, you are more motivated to learn and put more effort, therefore obtaining higher grades. I've realised that exams are not a measure of how smart you are, but how you cope in unfamiliar situations and under pressure, and I want to teach others how to solve the tricks to exams. I can assure you you will benefit somehow as at GCSE I went from an average student to obtaining the second highest set of grades within my year and being achieving As and A*s in year 12, and getting an offer at a top 10 in the world university.

Students can bring work to me and we van go through it, but I will also offer to teach them little tricks and things I've learnt throughout my own education.
Understanding content completely then Active Recall as a basis always, you must know content off by heart before you attempt any questions.
Active recall helps with long term memory. I will test students on a topic one day, then the next, then two days, extend to a week, and will check up in topics to ensure they remember everything.
GCSEs are a memory test and a measure of how well you do under pressure, so much exam practice, knowing exam technique
I have all seven 9s and three 8s at GCSE, my methods work!
