About Luisa
I am Brazilian, from Brasília. I live in France about 6 years ago and here I completed Masters in Ecology and Environment in Bordeaux and Toulouse, in addition to a university exchange in La Rochelle. Speak with ease, understand and be understood, master the vocabulary appropriate to each context and culture - these are my goals for YOU as my student. You want to know why I will be the right person for you to get there? - Firstly because I will teach you my mother tongue: we will work on the pronunciation and cultural insertion that only a native Brazilian can give you, - secondly because I have experience of learning languages in situations total immersion (I have lived in France for more than 6 years) and that I know what really matters in terms of communication, - Thirdly because I have already taught Portuguese to children and adults. I base myself on the Natural Method, that is to say that my objective is to create a communicative competence and not a grammatical perfection. Our courses will therefore focus on conversation. Written comprehension and expression and grammar will be worked on with the help of homework and according to the needs of each student.
