About Vinicius Gabriel
I am Brazilian, a native Portuguese speaker, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from UNICAMP. My academic and personal journey has always been closely connected to languages, communication, culture, and the processes involved in language learning.
Throughout my academic training, I developed a particular interest in linguistic structure, pronunciation, grammar, and second-language acquisition. This background allows me to teach Brazilian Portuguese in a clear and systematic way while keeping the focus on how the language is actually used in everyday life.
I believe that learning a language goes far beyond memorizing vocabulary and grammatical rules. It also means discovering new ways of communicating, understanding cultural references, and seeing the world from different perspectives.
As a teacher, I value an approach that is adapted to each student. My goal is to create a supportive, stimulating, and progressive learning environment in which students can develop confidence and independence from the very beginning.
I aim to share a living and authentic Brazilian Portuguese, helping each student communicate naturally and gain a deeper understanding of both the language and Brazilian culture.

My Brazilian Portuguese lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, level, and learning pace. The approach combines conversation, listening comprehension, pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, and vocabulary development in an integrated and progressive way.
As a native Portuguese speaker with a degree in Linguistics from UNICAMP, I aim to explain the language clearly and systematically, paying particular attention to pronunciation, rhythm, nasal vowels, grammatical structure, and the differences between formal and everyday Brazilian Portuguese.
From the very first lessons, we work with authentic and contemporary Portuguese through dialogues, videos, songs, texts, and real-life communication situations. For beginners, the goal is to build a strong foundation that allows them to start understanding and expressing themselves with confidence. For intermediate and advanced students, lessons can focus on fluency, conversation, pronunciation, grammatical accuracy, writing, and a deeper understanding of different registers of Brazilian Portuguese.
Lessons can also be adapted to specific goals such as travel, university studies, work, interviews, moving to Brazil, relationships, or simply an interest in Brazilian language and culture.
My goal is not simply to teach rules and vocabulary, but to help students develop the ability to understand, think, and communicate naturally in Brazilian Portuguese.
