About Wasib

Hi, I’m Wasib! I’m a law and compliance professional based in London. I currently work as a Compliance Specialist and am also training towards qualification as a solicitor.

I have an LLM in Commercial & Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London, where I achieved Distinctions in three modules. Alongside my academic background, I have gained practical experience working with commercial contracts, regulatory requirements, compliance, legal risk and complex legal frameworks.

I have always enjoyed studying and discussing law, but I also know that it can sometimes feel unnecessarily complicated. During my own studies, I found that understanding the reasoning behind a legal principle was far more useful than simply trying to memorise pages of cases and legislation.

That is one of the main reasons I enjoy tutoring. I want to give students the kind of support that helps make challenging subjects feel manageable, while also encouraging them to think critically and develop their own arguments.

Whether you are preparing for an exam, struggling with a particular module or simply want to become more confident with legal analysis, I’m happy to work with you at your own pace and build lessons around your individual goals :)

About the lesson

My lessons are focused on making difficult areas of law easier to understand and, most importantly, easier to apply. I tailor each session to your course, level and what you actually need help with.

I can help you work through complex legal concepts, cases and legislation, develop stronger legal arguments, tackle problem questions and improve essay writing. We can also focus specifically on exam preparation, revision or a particular topic you are struggling with.

I teach Civil, Labour, Public and Energy Law, and I aim to make lessons interactive rather than simply talking at you. We can work through questions together, test your understanding and identify exactly where you can improve.

My goal is not just to help you remember the law, but to help you understand the reasoning behind it and become more confident in applying it to unfamiliar situations.
