There is no such different technique to teach students . The system is the same for all. However, dealing with younger students would ask you to take certain precautions like:
Connecting with students-
A positive environment works best for the students to thrive. The age group of the students does not have anything to do with those. You thus must create an environment where the learners always receive the necessary support. They should never feel they are not getting enough help from you. To build confidence, this is required.
Maintain your schedule properly-
Younger students may have a problem understanding the change of time. So it is better not to change the time frequently.
Checking with the student before starting the class-
Most of the educational platforms provide various features. Sending a reminder to the students from the upcoming class is one of those. Platforms like Urbanpro send a notification to both the student and the tutor for the class. But then also it is better if a teacher can personally notify the student through a text. Even if the student misses the scheduled notification, they can see the tutor’s message.
Creating routine-
Students should follow a proper routine. You should encourage them in preparing the routine; when the students follow a proper routine, they become a lot more disciplined. They also attend the classes on time.
The teacher should have patience-
Teaching students below class 10 requires more patience. They may ask you more questions than the senior students. Teachers with a high endurance level should only try for classes with young students.
