About Krishna
Hi, I'm Krishna! I am a graduate from the University of Southampton in Civil Engineering and Architecture, and a Master's student in Urban Planning at The Bartlett UCL. I like to think I am quite a resourceful, reliable and resilient person, who can understand where I can go wrong and, more importantly, how to fix it. As a post-graduate, I have acquired many valuable tips on how to properly learn, revise and understand given topics. The most important part of any form of education, in my opinion, is active learning, which is something I have managed to perfect. Without properly understanding important concepts and topics, it will be incredibly difficult to apply the principles to given tasks or questions. This is what I will try and help others do.
After successfully completing my own GCSEs and A Levels, I hope to bring light to the key mistakes I made and how to rectify them. I have also found new and sporadic ways to make learning enjoyable, rather than being seen as a chore or obligation. I aim to show how students can develop their own ways to combat things like procrastination or surface learning. By forming new routines and processes of learning, hopefully, we can try to consolidate where you may falter and how we can fill in these gaps of knowledge. All in all, sessions with me will hopefully be beneficial to those who wish to take on all I have to offer, and we can work together in securing your educational success, which will be as satisfying for me as it will be for you.

My sessions rely heavily on the constant reassessment of students. This allows me to properly analyse where students are doing their best and where more improvement is needed. We will usually start our first session with an informal assessment to see how the student attempts their given subject. After this, the student will be provided with a mark and a lesson plan going forward. I implement a large amount of active recall to ensure that what is being taught is being absorbed by the student in fun and different ways. To ensure success, we will also conduct numerous assessments throughout to track the progress of the students' learning.
