on my fathers side I descend from Waikato and Te Rarawa my 2 waka through my dad are Tainui and Tinana. On my mother’s side I descend from Ngapuhi and Ngati Kuri my waka are Ngātokimatawhaorua and Kurahaupo. I grew up immersed in my Māoritanga completely, I was a kohanga baby then a kura kid then a Wharekura kid so it’s no doubt Te Reo Māori is my first language

My goal is to share my knowledge about my people and my Reo with anyone who wishes to learn. With this hope in my heart I hope that one day all Māori and everyone who considers Aotearoa their home can converse in Te Reo Māori freely and confidently
