About Iustina

My name is Iustina and I am in the final year of my BA in Japanese Studies at Birkbeck, University of London. I am looking to take my master's in Translation at SOAS, focusing in particular on Japanese-English translation. Like many people, I became interested in Japanese and Japanese culture after engaging with popular anime series, however, during my BA, I learnt about Japan's history, popular culture, films, and many more. If you share the same love for Japan, let's learn Japanese together!

About the lesson

I am able to cater my lessons' content and length to the student's availability. For teaching Japanese, I personally find 2-hour long sessions more efficient in learning, however, I am open to 1-hour sessions as well. My lessons are fit for students from complete beginner level up to intermediate level (JLPT N3 scale). While I am not a fully qualified teacher, I do have experience with online tutoring, as I've tutored Greek online students ages 13 or above, and they enjoyed their lessons a lot! I will provide all the teaching materials (PDF format textbooks and PowerPoint slides), so there won't be any extra costs!

Iustina's explanations are very clear and she also incorporates exercises and materials that help with any questions that I may still have and keep me motivated to practice what we learn and review during the lessons. She is patient and organised, which helps me stay focused and achieve my goals at a steady pace. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons!.
