About Yumiko

I am a linguistics student at a university in California, and I was born and raised for half my life in Japan! I have also graduated from a Japanese high school in the U.S. as well!

I love anime, kpop, and language, and I love helping people with languages! I am fluent in Japanese and English, but I know some Spanish as well!

I was a TA (teacher's assistant) in high school, so I have a bit of experience with language assisting!

I'd love to help you with Japanese OR English!

About the lesson

- My lessons are based on how you want it to go! (Tell me what you need help with or want to learn, and I'll do my best!)

- I can help you with any Japanese skills for long-term (wanting to learn from scratch to fluent level) or short-term (just for trips)!

- I can help with any levels, no judgement! Learning languages are my thing so I want to help anyone that I can!

- Depending on the level or challenges you want, I can talk mostly in Japanese or English!

- I'll do my best to help you understand the language and culture of Japan!
