About Emily
In the past, I have helped my students work towards JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) or supplementing their university degrees, helping them where studying alone may be a little more challenging. I also have experience in teaching people who are learning it casually as a hobby. I've assisted in speaking, reading, as well as guiding students through grammar and conjugation.

I have JLPT N1, equating to a near-native comprehension of the language. I'm happy to assist in any reading, writing or speaking practice, including GCSE, A-Level and JLPT. A lot of students I have had in the past have been beginner learners too :)
I base my teaching on what my student would like to learn or want help with, and prepare material based on or surrounding that topic. I strongly believe in an encouraging and engaging approach to teaching really helps people learn the most.

Perfect! Tailored the lesson to suit the direction I want to go. Offered various helpful measures to help learn, and was very clear in direction while teaching.
Perfect! Friendly & took genuine interest and care about areas of desired learning and a good introduction to what to expect. Patient and willing to help, 10/10 will be continuing with lessons!
- Attentive, enthusiastic, and asked some great questions :)Emily's response :
