About Mandi
I am passionate about trying multiple different approaches to find the best method of learning for each student. Not everyone learns the same way, and sometimes it takes trial and error! I love finding new resources to use in my tutoring sessions. I welcome questions, and use lots of feedback from students to tailor my approach. I have a background in instructing ski lessons, teaching at summer camps, and teaching students with disabilities- so I am creative in my approach and prioritize a solid foundation of comfortable guidance, effective communication, and playful learning. I emphasize independence and confidence and love to see those "a-ha!" moments happen!
