About Prince
Hi, I'm Prince Anani Selase. I hold a First Class degree in Mathematics and a Master's in Mathematical Engineering from the University of L'Aquila in Italy, where my research applied machine learning to real engineering problems. I finished among the top of my class throughout, and I've been in love with the subject for as long as I can remember.
Here's how I work: I don't believe students are "bad at maths." In my experience, almost every difficulty comes down to one missing link in the chain — once we find it and fix it, the rest falls into place. I teach the why behind every method, not just the steps, because understanding the reasoning is what makes the subject stick under exam pressure. Expect a calm, structured, and encouraging session, with plenty of worked examples and practice tailored to exactly what you need.

My approach to teaching is to make you understand the theories and concepts of mathematics from everyday life. Mathematics is all around us from cooking to making laundry. If you are doing your laundry, you don't want to mix your clothes that bleach with the non bleaching ones. Therefore you will need to sort your clothes so that bleaching ones are washed separately from those that are not bleaching. In algebra, this is putting variables into LIKE TERMS. When cooking, we put seasonings into our food in proportions. Have you heard of RATIO and PROPORTIONS in maths before?
These are just but few examples of maths in everyday life.
