About Luke
Teaching is always something that I have wanted to do, since I can remember. I love it, and the most fulfilling part of my job is to see the students that I teach make progress and enjoy the lessons that I have spent time creating for them. I have been a fully qualified primary school teacher for 13 years and have taught in schools in the UK and in British international schools all over the world (Egypt, Brazil, China, Vietnam, Mexico and Spain), so I also have a lot of experience working with students from different cultural backgrounds, religions and levels of the English language. I have worked with every year group age in Primary and have also had middle management positions, where I have developed the curriculum, assessment structures and even led and trained other teachers.

My 1 hour lessons are fun, informative and with a specified goal tailored to my students' needs. As a very experienced classroom teacher of 13 years and having taught students from year 1 to year 6, I am knowledgeable in all areas of the British national curriculum. I have always had very positive feedback from parents and students saying I am fun, friendly, approachable and I make my lessons challenging. I am looking for primary school aged students needing extra support with reading, writing and Maths or in any other curriculum subjects at primary level. I also have experience preparing students for all types of exams such as SATS or the 11 plus exams.

Luke tutored my children for a couple of terms back in 2013 whilst he was working in New Zealand. Luke was amazingly structured with the children and easy for them to relate to.
