I would take a similar approach to teaching physics as my own physics teacher: create analogies and other ways to get the equations and concepts to stick. I would also press for repetition with step by step examples.
If students are looking for exam prep, I would focus on exam specific multiple choices and FRQs using examples from all of the exams that I have taken
