About Matt
My goal is to provide students with the confidence needed to reach their full potential when it comes to reading and writing. Early on reading and writing can be challenging for many people but I feel a strong importance to teach the value in reading and writing as forms of learning and expression. My goal is to encourage youth to learn the value of quality efficient writing, and the enjoyment and value of reading. I want to continue to work on teaching the creative process, I personally feel there is a strong value in working out your creative processes and this would be a great way to learn both linear and creative writing and the ways they can intersect. I also understand the anxiety surrounding writing quality essays and articles at the higher levels. Having someone to read through, edit, and bounce ideas off of can be very beneficial and I would love to help.

I am offering lessons for high school and undergraduate students regarding Essay writing and any creative writing. I have 5 years experience in teaching.
- Lessons would be 1 hour long and tiered based on grade level and skill
- Focus would be on flow of the writing and structure of essay
- Spelling and Grammar corrections and lessons
- Experience with students w/ learning specialties
- Experience with new English speakers and early readers.
- Experience teaching phonics and beginner English concepts as well as advanced concepts
