About Benjy
I am a passionate and dedicated maths tutor with a strong background in mathematics and a deep desire to inspire others through teaching. I have always been fascinated by the logic and structure of maths and its ability to solve real-world problems. This is why I chose to study mathematics at University level because it meant I could look more deeply into it. Also teaching maths allows me to share this passion, help students overcome challenges, and unlock their potential. I believe everyone can excel in maths with the right guidance and support. My goal is to make maths accessible, enjoyable, and relevant for learners of all ages and levels, fostering confidence and a lasting appreciation for the subject.

My approach to tutoring maths is adaptable and student-focused, ensuring lessons meet the needs of learners of all levels of understanding. My methodology emphasises building a strong foundation, tackling challenging areas, and applying maths to real-world scenarios. Each lesson is typically 60-90 minutes, allowing ample time for instruction, practice, and review. With my experience having tutored three GCSE students for maths and one A-level student, I’m committed to helping students boost their confidence, achieve academic success, and develop a lifelong appreciation for maths.
