About Sam
I am a certified ESL instructor by the TEFL Academy based in the UK. I have taught in schools both in and outside the United States. As a person, I am attentive, hardworking, and compassionate. Having learned 2 foreign languages myself, I know how difficult it can be, therefore I get great joy to see someone flourish in their language-learning journey.

In my lessons, I value more than anything the interests, needs, and priorities of each individual student. As someone who’s had a wide variety of personal and professional experience, such as working in public schools and teaching English in Brazil, I’ve learned to work hard and pay attention to detail. If you just want to practice conversational skills, that’s great; if you want to focus on a specific subject with accompanying resources, that’s awesome too! Whatever is needed, I’m here to help!
