About Amy
There is nothing more fulfilling than helping a student reach their full potential. I understand that sometimes topics are difficult and we need to present the material in multiple ways so the learner has many options in retaining it. Sometimes it's rote memorization while other times we use rhyming or movement to help remember the information needed to succeed!

I have taught Reading, ESL, and Special Education classes for over 13 years. I have the Fountas and Pinnell Leveled Literacy program to support K-6 grade learners that are struggling to reach their target levels. This program is known for short lessons that when done three times a week can catch a student up a full grade level in as little as 14 weeks!! I have used it in my classroom as well as for my son that was told would never read and he is graduating high school this year!!! I also teach executive functioning awareness and the English language lessons.
