About Khomotso

I am an Oscar nominee, at age 12. I was recruited from a small town in Limpopo, and since 11 years I can say I've received a SAFTA, been recognized by Roger Ebert, I have attended the likes of Cannes Film Festivals, being the main character in a then to be Oscar nominee film. Coming from a disadvantaged home didn't mean that I slept on my dreams, or dreamt less. Instead, I flourished with them and I made sure that with every performance, I am recognized. I mastered my acting at The National School of the Arts, then went to study Film, TV and Video Production at Oakfields College, which landed me big opportunities working in films such as 3 Way Junction featuring Stacy Martin, as a camera operator trainee, and Oliver Schmitz's film Shepherds and Butchers as a junior director and guest artist.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on the Alexander Technique, I will focus a lot on teaching my students the importance of role playing, posture, and offering movement classes that are both therapeutic and artistic. Each student will be focused on as it is important to trigger or get rid of some habits whilst performing. The Alexander Technique will help with that, movement classes and voice exercises will be offered.
