I like to see what my students know by getting to know them, their learning style, and what they feel confident and struggle with within a topic. I like to incorporate fun learning games, flashcards/repetition, frequency practice, comprehension check-ins and taking notes when appropriate to help with further tutoring lessons. Depending on the subject tutor, I am very flexible and can adjust accordingly to the student's needs. I specifically have tutored for kids ages 7-10. I do about an hour for each lesson and will keep track of data as we go. Before each lesson, I gather material, and develop a plan for the day.
