About Hussam

I graduated From University of Balamand in Lebanon, I worked in many schools as a teacher for 12 years in Syria then I traveled to Iraq and worked as an Arabic teacher at Mar Qurdakh School in Erbil. Here I am teaching Arabic at Saint Mary Orthodox Church every Saturday. I love to teach Arabic. I have Certificate III in Education Support Officer. I'm doing volunteer work at Good Samaritan Primary School.

About the lesson

Arabic is a Semitic language spoken by over 300 million people worldwide. It's the official language of 26 countries and one of the six official languages of the United Nations. It's written from right to left and has a rich history. Arabic contributed many words to other languages, particularly in science, mathematics, and philosophy. Learning any language takes time and effort, as well as Arabic, but there are certainly ways to make the process smoother: Start with the basics: Learn the Arabic alphabet and basic pronunciation rules. Consistent practice: Dedicate time each day to practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Use resources: There are many online courses, apps, textbooks, and language exchange platforms available to help you learn Arabic. Immerse yourself: Surround yourself with Arabic media such as movies, music, and news to improve your comprehension and vocabulary. Find a tutor or join a class: Having guidance from a teacher or tutor can provide structure and feedback to your learning process. Practice speaking: Find opportunities to speak with native Arabic speakers, whether through language exchange programs, online communities, or in person if possible.
