About Ali

I hold a degree in English, and I taught it for several years before I invested this knowledge in having a comprehensive understanding of Arabic grammar and literature. Additionally, I taught Arabic to those whose second language is Arabic for several years before the political turmoil in Yemen. With my educational background in both English and Arabic, and commitment to creating an enriching, enjoyable learning experience, I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their goals. Together, we can start an exciting learning experience that opens doors to new opportunities and connections.

About the lesson

My approach combines communicative techniques, deep experience, and an engaging learning environment. I apply the Communicative method, which involves engaging students in conversations, using role-play, dialogues, and situational exercises.

I also use the Task-Based Learning method. Lessons are constructed around specific tasks that contain authentic language, such as ordering food, asking for directions, or discussing daily routines. In addition to that, I use multimedia like videos.

Furthermore, I use multimedia like videos and, at the same time, try to personalize the learning process, for each student has unique goals and learning spaces. Therefore, I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs.

My typical lesson plan has the following steps:
1. Warm-up: I start with a brief conversation in Arabic to assess prior knowledge and engage students.
2. Introduction: I present the lesson's theme with realia and visual aids.
3. Main Activity: I conduct a role-play activity, for example, and students practice and use the piece of language that has been taught.
4. Assessment: I give students a worksheet to assess and make sure that they have understood the lesson.
5. Rap-up and Homework.

What makes me apart as a tutor is my emphasis on building confidence and love for the language. I create an engaging learning environment where mistakes are opportunities to improve and students interact, making it a rich experience.
