About Jaslin
I am graduating from CSUN this spring 2022 semester in Liberal Studies, and hope to complete my teaching credentials in the near future. Before going into the credential program, I will be substituting for LAUSD starting next school year (fall 2022). I was a teachers assistant since 2014 and I am currently an on-call substitute teacher at a private school. As of right now, I have flexible hours to tutor students who needs the extra help or to continue learning through their upcoming summer break.

Reading and writing is a big part of education because we use it for everything. I typically work with students, K-5, who are struggling in school with their reading and writing. Students will be assessed first so I see where they are at and I would work with them on the areas that need improvement. Lessons will include sight words, readings, talking about the readings, and a writing prompt.
