About Valeria
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am Italian and, true to the stereotype, I'm obsessed with pasta and pizza. Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy painting, playing the piano, and running! I moved to the UK four years ago to pursue my education and fell in love with London…though not quite with the weather.
Ultimately, my goal is to help students achieve their academic goals while developing a genuine interest in STEM subjects. By simplifying difficult concepts and ensuring thorough understanding, I make learning both effective and enjoyable. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring new ideas and asking questions. I want to inspire a lasting passion for STEM and to help each student reach their full potential.

Since I started my degree at University College London, I've had the pleasure of tutoring three A-level students in mathematics, physics, and biology. My tutoring approach is straightforward and focused on ensuring that every student fully understands the material. I believe in making learning easy and enjoyable by breaking down complex concepts into simpler, more manageable parts.
In my sessions, I prioritize clarity and comprehension. I repeat explanations as many times as needed until the student feels confident with the material. To reinforce understanding, I encourage students to explain the concepts back to me. This method not only solidifies their grasp but also builds their confidence in the subject.
I strive to make difficult subjects like mathematics and physics accessible and engaging. By using real-world examples and hands-on activities, I bring abstract concepts to life.
