About Kay
Hello! I’m Kay Androwis, a professional fine artist, graphic designer, and creative educator with more than 20 years of experience in the visual arts.
As the founder of KA Alluring Art, I have created and exhibited original artwork in the United States and internationally. My passion is helping others discover their creativity and develop the confidence to express themselves through art.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Graphic Design, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. My background combines traditional fine art with modern digital design, allowing me to teach both classic painting techniques and professional Adobe illustration skills.
My classes focus on oil painting, acrylic painting on canvas, and Adobe digital illustration. I believe that every student is unique, so I tailor each lesson to match individual goals, experience, and learning styles. Whether you’re a complete beginner, an aspiring artist, or someone looking to sharpen your skills, I’ll guide you with patience, encouragement, and hands-on instruction.
My goal is not only to teach techniques but also to inspire creativity, build confidence, and make every class enjoyable. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their artistic potential and taking pride in their progress.

Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the very first time or you’re an experienced artist looking to refine your skills, my classes are designed for all ages and all skill levels. I provide personalized guidance that helps every student grow at their own pace while building confidence and enjoying the creative process.
In my classes, you’ll learn:
* Oil painting on canvas
* Acrylic painting on canvas
* Adobe digital illustration and creative design techniques
You’ll explore color theory, composition, shading, texture, brush techniques, blending, and creative expression while developing your own unique artistic style. Digital illustration students will also learn professional Adobe tools used by designers and illustrators to create beautiful artwork from concept to completion.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and hands-on. Every lesson is interactive, creative, and enjoyable, making learning feel exciting rather than overwhelming. I believe that everyone has artistic potential, and my goal is to help you unlock your creativity while gaining real artistic skills.
