About Jalon
Hello there, my name is Jalon Dixon and I am a passionate tutor with a love for the English language, literature, and editing.
My goal is to motivate students to become improving writers, and more enthusiastic readers and help them get a better grasp of the English language.
My teachings/methods are flexible and can be applied to a multitude of different English subject matters. This includes: Trying understanding Shakespeare, putting together a book report, formulating a resume for the big job you're applying for, etc.
Regardless of the topic, my job is to help you come out of our sessions as a better writer than before.

Teaching methods include One-on-one sessions comprised of brainstorming, listing, format construction, and formulation of an action plan (next steps using the information gathered).
These teaching methods apply to early Elementary School to undergraduate college students. Regarding resume preparation, college students and older adults are also welcome to have their resumes reviewed, edited, and/or put together from scratch.
