About Sunny
I have 24 years teaching experience and have five kids of my own. I enjoy learning myself so I am always open to new ideas that support the science of teaching reading and math! I have taught general education from 7th-10th grade and special education from K-12th. I’m invested in helping students grow educationally and just want to share skills to help with any gaps improvement needed! I work hard at teaching the foundation of literacy and math and pinpointing what the student needs to “get over the hump”!

I take so much pride in tailoring differentiated instruction to meet the needs of the student. My expertise is in early literacy, reading comprehension of all levels, grammar, handwriting, vocabulary skills, spelling and elementary math! I use many hands-on materials and manipulatives and if we don’t have something we need, I am knowledgeable of many helpful websites and other resources to locate supplemental material! I love building confidence and seeing students progress! I look forward to partnering with you and your child!
