About Youmna

I’m an electrical engineer, and Arabic is my mother tongue. Growing up, I never fully realized how powerful and valuable this language would become in my career. Over time, as I began working on projects in Arabic-speaking regions, I saw how knowing the language helped me connect with people, understand technical documents more deeply, and navigate cultural nuances that make a big difference in engineering projects. In my professional experience, speaking Arabic has given me a competitive edge. It's allowed me to collaborate effectively with local teams and clients, participate in conversations where language barriers might have been a problem, and even access research and resources that were only available in Arabic. On a personal level, Arabic has connected me to my roots and deepened my understanding of my cultural and religious traditions.
