About Xavier
My name is Xavier and I am currently doing my A levels at TGS6F. I completed my GCSEs with a 6.5 grade point average, achieving 8s in many of my subjects. I have experience teaching students of a variety of ages, from year 1 all the way to year 11; of course, references are available. I enjoy teaching as I find it very inspiring to teach people and help them understand things.

I tutor a variety of GCSE subjects; including Religious Studies, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Enterprise BTEC. I can tutor any age range up until GCSE. I like to spend some time with the students talking about their thoughts and feelings about school and learning. I like to find out what they are confident in and what they need help on, and from those factors, will find the method of teaching that will suit them best. For people who live in and around West London, I can come and do in-person lessons; these normally last 1hr or 1.5hrs; however, I am completely flexible with timings. I can also do online lessons for people living further away; alternatively, I can take lessons at my house if in-person is preferred.

Xavier is a very engaging tutor and he makes sure that my child understands the content that is required for their syllabus. He regularly checks in with me and makes sure I am updated on my child's progress in the subject as well as recommending certain activities for my child to do to improve and deepen their understanding of the subject. He makes sure that my child has properly consolidated the lesson before moving on by doing random pop quizzes or small assessments to make sure everything has been covered.
